Is the brain training meant to be boring?
Stretching your mental capacity is not an enjoyable experience. Some liken it to homework and say it’s boring, but I can promise you this:If you follow my brain training programme to the letter, it will work. Repetitive stimulation over specific periods of time will push your brain to a new level its never been before. It will help you outthink and outlast your competitors.
Why have you set my brain training programme this way?
I create your brain training programme according to the mental demands of your sport, where you are in the season, what you face on a regular basis and what you require. For each training cycle, I choose and design the pairing and placement of the cognitive drills according to the above and your baseline test. This ensures you’re heading in the right direction and creating the optimal adaptions in your brain to withstand fatigue and enhance your resilience.I’m consistently and constantly monitoring your data to ensure you’re experiencing the desired changes
What is the baseline test and why do I have to do it?
You complete a baseline test at the start of your brain training and at the end of each training cycle. The test is designed to give me a clear understanding of where you’re at and how you’re responding to the training.
Do you have to do the brain training drills continuously?
I set the drills in a specific and careful order to ensure you get the right mental load, this may mean 90 minutes of brain training in a row to establish your baseline, or the drills may be spread out before, during and after your workout lasting a total of 30 minutes.
What data do you collect and measure?
I collect and measure a range of important data sets (below) to get the complete picture of your performance, so I can detect and track any meaningful changes:
Reaction Time
Speed
Variation
Accuracy
Rate of Correct Score
Rate of Perceived Exertion
Lapses
VAS-F: a simple scoring system to understand how you’re subjectively feeling
