"You shouldn’t let anything stop you doing what you’re really passionate about and want to do!"

Over the years I have met Phoebe Smith many times at different events and have wild camped with Phoebe though her books.

Phoebe is a wonderfully kind adventurous soul, who I know you're going to grow to love as you listen to this podcast episode.

An Author, Extreme Sleeper and Editor of the Wanderlust Travel Magazine, Phoebe also seeks the small things in life, because you’ll one day look back and realise they were the big things!

For Phoebe, these small things are pushing her sleep and daring to go more wild each time.

And in 2014 this has led her to become the first person to sleep at all extreme points of mainland Britain including the centre most point, solo and on consecutive nights.

Phoebe believes you should collects sleeps - not things.

We cover in this episode what it’s like to chase your dreams, follow your gut and face your fears, things anyone can do, because as Phoebe says, she is just an ordinary person who knows how to sleep!

To help you on your journey, we dive into…

  • What wild camping is?

  • What are bothies?

  • Why camping is important

  • Why you should try mindful walking

  • What Phoebe’s first solo wild camp was like

  • How to overcome your fear
